Why a Cane Corso?
The Cane Corso is an Italian mastiff breed with roots stretching back to the dogs of ancient Rome. Traditionally used as a versatile working dog, the breed has been valued for its intelligence, loyalty, confidence and protective nature for centuries.

Mars takes his name from the Roman god of war, a nod to the breed's historical connection to the Roman Empire and the powerful dogs that accompanied Roman life.

While the Cane Corso is often recognised for its size and presence, it is their intelligence, trainability and strong bond with their owners that attracted me to the breed. Through Mars' Journey, you'll be able to follow his development from an 9-week-old puppy into the adult dog he will eventually become.
